Intro to Wood Burning

Service Description

Learn from Jacqueline, at TayloredByGrace, the basics of pyrography, including appropriate wood species, wood preparation, artwork layout, beginner machines/pens/tips, and different ways to finish your final product. Jacqueline will also share information and recommendations for additional items if you wish to dive deeper into pyrography after the course. Class Final: Create a new piece of art and/or complete a current project with wood burning. Artwork/projects will use pyrography to either create, enhance, or finalize your own design by August 30th. Please tag @tayloredbygrace and @m2.labs, and use the following hashtags: #inclasswithm2labs and #introtowoodburning. All students that post their final projects before the deadline will be entered into a monthly raffle for a free m2.Labs class. Class Timeline: July 29th - Class email with syllabus will be sent out and Instagram chat will be opened July 31st - Class August 30th - Class project due September 3rd - Instagram group chat will close Tools Required: - Pyrography Wood Burning Tool (recommendations will be sent via email) - Orbital or Finishing Sander - Router (optional) - PPE (smoke/vapor resistant mask, smoke extractor *if in closed area*, heat resistant gloves, and safety glasses)

Cancelation Policy

We understand life happens and sometimes schedules change. We encourage you to contact contact@m2labslearning.com as soon you realize you are no longer able to attend the class you registered for. A full refund is offered to those that contact m2.Labs at least 10 (ten) days prior to the class date and time. Those that contact m2.Labs after that point can receive a credit for the class value up until 48 hours prior to the class date and time. Any cancellations made after 48 hours prior to the class will result in the loss of the class registration fee, as we will not be able to fill your seat.
